Sailing with one of our charter yachts along the west coast of Thailand must surely be one of the greatest ways to cruise the exotic coasts of the Andaman Sea.
Our fleet of consists of six charter catamarans. We offer bareboat charters, skippered charters and fully crewed trips. Siam Sailing is based in Phuket from where you have immediate access to sailing in stunning scenery and you will have a choice of literally hundreds of anchorages, most of which you will have entirely to yourself. Take one of our sea kayaks with you on board and you can spend hours exploring a multitude of hidden sea caves, creeks and rivers.
During our sailing holidays you will have, amongst many other things, the opportunity to snorkel on colourful coral reefs in gin- clear water, you can fish, explore remote beaches, find hidden caves, enjoy the wonderful Thai food and, perhaps best of all, meet what must be the friendliest people in the world.

We offer four types of yachts, all catamarans.
From the Hitia 24 for camping and day sailing, the Tiki 30’s and Tiki 38’s for bareboat and skippered charters to the mighty Islander 55 for fully crewed charters where you get truly pampered, you will find your ideal charter yacht with Siam Sailing.
Siam Sailing only charters out yachts which we own ourselves, we do not act as agents for boats which are owned by other companies.
 Custom designed for tropical living and sailing charter in Thailand, our fleet of charter yachts are all James Wharram designed catamarans and all were custom built for us . Wharram cats are directly derived from the ancient Polynesian voyaging vessels and the inspiration is clearly visible in their lines.
Wharram cats are fast, fun and eminently seaworthy. They have but little draught and can readily take the ground.
Cabins are comfortable, have lots of natural light and are and well ventilated. Creature comforts are certainly up to scratch too with a large fridge, electric anchor winch, pressurized domestic water, the neccessary electronics etc. In addition there are some clever and useful details such as the “world’s best swimming ladder“ (according to Classic Boat Magazine) and a dedicated separate circuit for drinking water.
Between charters we meticulously check all systems on board. As a result the reliability record of our boats is excellent. Should anything untoward happen however, we are on 24 hr stand-by to lend immediate assistance.

When you charter one of our yachts you will receive her clean and completely equipped, beds are already made up, in the fridge you’ll find a selection of cold drinks, in the galley there is coffee, tea ,sugar, creamer etc. Suppplied with the boat are also linen & towels for each 7 days of charter, cooking gas, full water and fuel tanks, full fuel tanks, all charts and pilot books of the Thai West coast, nav tools, binoculars etc. You get a pre charged mobile telephone too. Everything is included in the price.
There are no English language radio weather forecasts in Thailand. So that you are not without we send each evening a forecast for the next day by SMS to our yachts.
During the handover you will receive a very thorough briefing about the yacht and the sailing area. We like to encourage our guests to go exploring outside the beaten paths so during the area briefing you will also hear about some of our “special“ places which you will certainly not find in the cruising guides !
Great start and happy ending in Phuket
Our base is not at some soulless marina but at an idyllic , quiet, well sheltered bay. Ao Yon has a lovely 2km long semi private all-tide sandy beach and is totally safe for small children. There are two nice beach restaurants too, a perfect place to start and finish for your sailing holiday.
You will find our rates attractive, more so if you keep in mind they are FULLY INCLUSIVE with NO extra’s (even fuel is included) and in some cases we can do even better then those given.
